The Guildhall

The Split Worlds Masked Ball live RPG will be held on May 7th, 2016 at the Guildhall which is in the centre of Bath, on High Street. It is an easy 10 minute walk or 5 minute bus journey from Bath Spa station. Click here for a map of the area.
The Guildhall is accessible for those with limited mobility. There is no parking but there is a bus stop just outside, and a short stay car park nearby.

Travelling by Train

Bath Spa station is 90 minutes from London Paddington. Trains run every 30 minutes on weekdays and Saturdays, and roughly every 45 minutes on Sundays.
There is a direct line to London Waterloo which takes 2 hours. However, it only runs 3 times a day. If you need to travel from Waterloo or Clapham Junction, take the train to Reading and join the Paddington service there.
Bristol Temple Meads is 15 minutes from Bath Spa. Bristol is a large terminus with trains to most parts of the country.
All platforms at Bath Spa are fully accessible, with lifts to every platform and to the ticket office. The route from the station to the Guildhall is fairly flat. However, beyond the Guildhall the city rises on steep hills. If you have mobility difficulties you should bear this in mind when booking accommodation.

Travelling by Car

Bath is a small city and the streets were not designed for cars. It can get very congested. If you are travelling by car you may wish to use one of the Park and Ride services.
Please bear in mind that there is no parking at the Guildhall. The nearest short stay car park is on Broad Street. It charges £1.60 per hour. The nearest long stay car park is Charlotte Street, which charges £8.50 for 12 hours. You can also park at Charlotte Street overnight. The cost is £17.00 for two days or £25.50 for three days.

Travelling by Bus

Bath has excellent local transport around the city. The FirstDay bus ticket allow a day’s unlimited travel on all buses except Park & Ride for £4.10. Tickets can be purchased from the Bath Visitor Information Centre in the Abbey Churchyard.

Travelling by Coach

National Express runs regular, and cheap, coach services to Bath. The coach station is on Manvers Street, approximately a 6 minute walk or a 3 minute bus journey from the Guildhall.

Travelling by Air

Bristol Airport is a mere 20 minute drive from Bath. The Bristol Airport to Bath bus service runs regularly throughout the day and takes approximately an hour. Alternatively the Bristol Airport Flyer coach service will take you to Bristol Temple Meads station, from where it is a 15 minute journey to Bath.
